Activated Carbon
Our activated carbon is made from coconut shells and is therefore based on a sustainably renewable raw material.
- Thanks to its porous structure, activated carbon is extremely absorbent. This effect can be further enhanced through heat treatment, which widens the pores and creates more capacity for adsorption.
- Activated carbon binds molecules to its surface through physical adsorption. Since no chemical reaction occurs, activated carbon can be fully thermally regenerated.
Tyvek® Film Material
TROcarbon® sachets are made from Tyvek®, the same material used for our Mini‑sachets. Tyvek® has been established for decades in the pharmaceutical, diagnostics, and food industries as a safe packaging material.
The standard print on the sachets complies with European Union regulations (Regulation EC No. 450/2009) and includes the warning “Do not eat” in German, English, French, and Spanish.
