MINI Desiccant Bags antistatic Tyvek® – protection for electronic products and components such as battery cells and energy storage devices
Thanks to its particularly space-saving dimensions (see → Table), this desiccant bag fits into almost all electronic devices, components or packaging for very small modules. We fill the bags flexibly with silica gel or molecular sieve according to your requirements, covering a wide range of possible applications. Ensure reliable protection of your electronics, control units or other electronic modules as well as during transport and storage.
Mini antistatic desiccant bags – The desiccant
Standard MINI desiccant bags contain silica gel/white gel or a molecular sieve/zeolite as the desiccant:
- Silica gel provides reliable protection for the tiniest of packaging thanks to its high adsorption capacity at higher relative humidity (over 50% RH)
- Molecular sieves are commonly used as desiccants in lower relative humidity (under 50% RH) and at lower temperatures, e.g. cold chains. A 4Å molecular sieve is used as a standard.
The desiccants are chemically neutral and provide reliable protection against mould and rust.
Mini desiccant bags – The antistatic Tyvek® bag material
These MINI desiccant bags are made from hot-sealed Tyvek® - a highly resistant and durable material consisting of essentially continuous fibres with an antistatic coating to protect against electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electromagnetic interference (EMI).
The special fibres guarantee a highly resistant, dust-proof and lint-free surface that is ideal for protecting your electronic products, components or electronic packaging, as there is virtually no chance of fibre contamination.
As a special service, we can print your desiccant bags made of antistatic coated Tyvek® according to your specifications, e.g. with your company logo and customized design.
