Matomo
This website uses the open source web analytics service Matomo. With the help of Matomo we are able to collect and analyze data about the use of our website by the website visitors and to analyze it. This allows us to find out, among other things, when which  page views were made and from which region they come. We also collect various log files (e.g. IP address, referrer, browsers used and operating systems) and can measure whether our website visitors perform certain actions (e.g. clicks, purchases, etc.).

The use of this analysis tool is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. Google Firebase

We use the developer platform ‘Google Firebase’ and its associated functions and services, run by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.  Google Firebase is a platform for developers of applications (‘apps’ for short) for mobile devices and websites. Google Firebase provides a number of functions, which can be found on the following overview page: https://firebase.google.com/products/. The functions encompass, among other things, the storage of apps, including the app users’ personal data, e.g. content created by them or information relating to their interaction with the apps (known as ‘cloud computing’). Google Firebase also provides interfaces which permit interaction between the app users and other services, e.g. authentication using services such as Facebook or Twitter or an email-password combination. User interaction may be analysed using the ‘Firebase Analytics’ analysis service. Firebase Analytics is designed to record how users interact with an app. This involves recording events, such as the first time the app is opened, uninstallations, updates, crashes or app usage frequency.
